As in years past, the book sale will have thousands of fiction and non-fiction books, children’s books, videos, DVDs, and audiobooks on sale at incredibly low prices. Wednesday, October 19 is Half-price Day; Box Day is Thursday, October 20. On Box Days, customers can bring a box and fill it full of books for only $3.00!

Book sale organizer Priscilla Johnson says the sale is the Library’s main fundraiser and encourages customers to come early for the best selection. “Saturday is especially busy.” she said, “This sale will be bittersweet because it is our last at the 419 Library.” All proceeds benefit the Roanoke County Public Library system.
