The Roanoke Rescue Mission and the Virginia Department of Health teamed up today to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to around 100 people from the area’s homeless population. There were no age requirements for the vaccine – due to the communal living environment at the shelter it was offered to everyone. Kevin Berry is the Rescue Mission’s community outreach manager:
