Virginia’s new voter ID law will not change eligibility standards for next week’s Republican primary. The changes take effect July 1st — once the Department of Justice approves. A voter card, driver’s license, social security or government will do, and if you do not have ID, you can still sign a statement that affirms you are who you say you are, and your vote will be counted. More from WFIR’s Evan Jones.
