The town of Vinton has a new assistant town manager…Richard Peters Jr. Peters will also serve as the Director of Economic Development with responsibilities including downtown revitalization. Peters has been employed by Botetourt County for ten years as the Director of the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. He starts on December 7.
