
Munters, a Sweden-based company operating in 30 countries, broke ground on a second facility in Botetourt County at the Greenfield Center this morning. The 200,000 square foot building will focus on building chillers used for energy-efficient cooling of data centers. Company executives from Sweden flew over for the groundbreaking.
Google recently purchased 300-plus acres adjacent to the industrial park, and could potentially build several dozen campus-style data centers to fuel its A-I capabilities.
