Governor McDonnell is running television ads across the state, following a winter of falling approval ratings in statewide polls. And a local political expert says the only reasonable conclusion to draw is that McDonnell is already looking ahead to the time when he will no longer be governor. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story.
