From Franklin County Sheriff’s Office: Franklin County, VA – On January 13, 2016 Daniel Percy Arnot entered a plea agreement in Franklin County Circuit Court. In the plea agreement, Arnot plead guilty to the first degree murder of Brian Edward Foy. Mr. Foy was shot dead in his home on May 2, 2015 in the Moneta area of Franklin County. According to the plea agreement, Arnot will receive two life terms and, additionally, a term of 145 years and 12 months, with fifty years of the sentence being an active period of incarceration.
