The Town of Vinton and Roanoke and Botetourt Counties are moving forward with their Safe Streets and Roads for All safety plans. As Denise Allen Membreno reports Roanoke County has released its plan for public comment.
Three area jurisdictions are moving into the next phase of the Safe Streets and Roads for All progam. The goal of the U.S. Transportation Department program is to reduce deaths and serious injuries for all roadway users. WFIR’s Denise Allen Membreno has more.
