It’s been months in the making, but Roanoke Valley libraries now have their e-book collection available for Kindle readers. Details from WFIR’s Evan Jones.

The libraries went on-line with e-books a few months ago, but until now, the service was not Kindle-compatible. Now it is, and for the most part, you can access the same titles on Kindle as you can on other e-readers, although there may be a few exceptions either way. The Roanoke Valley’s e-book website is the same for all readers; it just has separate checkouts for Kindle and other e-book readers.
