Workers are busy improving some exhibit areas at the Mill Mountain Zoo, part of its growing focus on species native to the region. As one component of that, it is improving the black bear and red wolf exhibits, which remain closed until the work is done. Zoo officials expect everything to be complete by the end of the month.
