VDOT is bringing back safety service patrols to Interstate 81 in our region along with some other heavily-traveled highways like I-581. They’re the white trucks with arrow boards mounted on them, answering incidents and disruptions along the interstates. The idea is to provide a faster response and help normal traffic flow resume more quickly.More from WFIR’s Evan Jones.
