The Tea Party movement is trying to keep the heat on area Congressmen as the House and Senate attempt to agree on a budget bill. News accounts from Washington indicate lawmakers are working on a budget agreement with about $33 billion in cuts. The Tea Party movement says that’s nowhere near enough. But as News/Talk 960’s Evan Jones reports, Congressmen Morgan Griffith and Bob Goodlatte say House Republicans are supporting big — and sometimes unpopular — reductions in federal spending.
