Our recent rains have brought the Carvins Cove reservoir back to 100% full, and that means the region’s water supply will remain more than ample for the rest of the year. The story from News/Talk 960’s Evan Jones.

Carvins Cove is not the Roanoke area’s only water supply, but it is the most important. And if levels are not high by spring, that can mean trouble by the summer — sometimes leading to water restrictions. Western Virginia Water Authority officials say that will not happen this year, even if we encounter a hot, dry summer.
