Close to 60 classic and antique cars will be motoring into the Roanoke Valley this weekend. It is part of a week-long, 1000-mile road rally called “The Great Race”. More from News/Talk 960’s Evan Jones.
Organizers say unlike many car shows, the owners and drivers of these cars encourage visitors to touch and feel the vehicles, and in many cases, you can sit down in the driver’s seat. The arrival event begins at 4:45 pm Sunday at the Salem Civic Center, and the cars should begin arriving around 5:30.
