Roanoke County Supervisor Al Bedrosian is not a fan of the Roanoke Valley Broadband Authority – or a county proposal to spend 3.4 million dollars to install high speed broadband in parts of the county. He made that clear at a lunch hour news conference. Bedrosian says the private sector can address all of the broadband needs in the valley – the proposed funding is included in the next fiscal year budget and will be voted on by June.
