Appalachian Power has outside crews in from as far away as Florida to help restore service in Virginia — 1,500 additional line workers in all. They have plenty of work today after more than 100,000 Virginia customers lost power overnight, mostly the result of trees and limbs falling onto power lines. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story.
