The Tea Party Movement wants area congressmen to oppose any budget compromise in Washington. Roanoke Tea Park members will hold what’s called a “Fiscal Sanity” rally Saturday outside Congressman Bob Goodlatte’s office. They’ll gather at noon at the SunTrust Building at Jefferson and Franklin. Roanoke President Chip Tarbutton says they want Goodlatte to oppose any compromise budget agreement. Reports from Washington suggest the two parties are working on $33 billion in cuts. The Tea Party says that’s nowhere near enough.
