This week’s polar vortex provided a winter-weather wakeup call to many motorists, who found they had dead batteries. Triple-A’s Martha Meade says if your car battery is over three years old, you should have it tested–and replaced if necessary. Meade says somewhere on every battery is a little round sticker with a letter and number indicating when it was manufactured and shipped. The graphic below shows what those symbols mean.
