A Franklin County woman whose remains were found in October of last year will finally be laid to rest later this week. 64-year-old Shirley Hodges disappeared back on August 31st. In October, some kids hunting in Cherokee County, Alabama found human remains that DNA tests in January confirmed were Hodges’. WFIR’s Timothy Martin spoke with Hodges’ daughter about what the last five months have been like and how she’ll honor her mom at a funeral this weekend.
