Roanoke Fire-EMS and Roanoke City are hosting a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb next Saturday at the Wells Fargo Tower. Participants will climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center to commemorate the fallen firefighters of 9/11. Proceeds benefit the FDNY Counseling Services Unit and the programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to support the families of the nation’s fallen firefighters.
