From Roanoke City Police: On July 10, 2015 at 3:58 a.m., Roanoke Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Memorial Avenue SW to investigate a reported breaking and entering into a residence. One of the residents was sleeping and woke up to find a man inside the home. The suspect was described as being a white male, possibly 5’8” to 6’0” tall, with short hair, weighing between 160 to 190 lbs., wearing a dark colored t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect ran from residence when he was spotted. No one was hurt in the incident. The suspect had left the scene by the time officers arrived. After further investigation officers found no sign of forced entry.
