Roanoke Police have identified the man shot Saturday by a city police officer. 21-year-old Ladravious Nixon of Fort Pierce, Florida faces a felony eluding police charge and a firearms count. As of Monday afternoon Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital had Nixon listed in serious condition. Police say Nixon may also be connected to a late October shooting on the 500 block of Patton Avenue, when a shot was fired into a car.
