From Vinton Police: There has been a spill of an undetermined quantity of cooking oil on the roadway of Vinyard Rd., between Hardy Rd. and Bedford Rd. at the Bojangles Restaurant. Vinyard Rd. is closed to traffic between Hardy Rd. and Bedford Rd. as the situation is being handled. The immediate concern for now is controlling the runoff and preventing vehicles from traveling through the slick substance.
