Dr. Ed Lynch is chair of the political science department at Hollins University. The former Reagan White House staffer has traveled extensively in the Middle East, and has written several books about the history and politics of the region. Lynch spoke with WFIR anchor-Senior Reporter Gene Marrano yesterday about the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which at least for now has put an end to the war in the Gaza strip.
