(update 10/3/23) Additional charges for a man wanted for a murder that happened last month on Melrose Avenue northwest now has additional charges against him. Denoyer is now charged with two counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Malicious Wounding, and three counts of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony. Police are still looking for the 25 year old suspect.(previously) Roanoke City police have released an updated picture of 25 year old Edward Denoyer, wanted as a suspect for Second Degree Murder regarding two homicides that occurred on September 17th in the 1200 block of Melrose Avenue NW. He is considered armed and dangerous. See the picture here – do not approach Denoyer but call the police if you see him.
