Update



After a blast of cold air this week the forecast calls for a return of above normal temperatures for the Roanoke Valley. Phil Hysell with the National Weather Service says Roanoke’s average temperature was about five degrees above normal in December and he expects the trend to continue into March.  WFIR’s Bob Clark has more.
