Virginia officials are keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Arthur as it tracks up the east coast. David Watson with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management says they’re staffing the emergency operations center in Richmond, looking at the potential for heavy rainfall and coastal flooding for parts of Hampton Roads. Watson says anyone with plans to go to Virginia Beach or Coastal North Carolina in the next few days should keep an eye on this storm.
