Blasting work on Interstate 81 has stopped for now.  VDOT wants a new plan after the southbound lanes at mile marker 121 were shut down for more than three hours on Wednesday.  VDOT Spokesman Jason Bond says Wednesday’s incident was third time that debris has spilled onto the interstate from blasting in the past six weeks.  News/Talk 960’s Timothy Martin reports.
