A proposed smoking bill has made its way through the State Senate — again. It’s a bill that would apply to many outdoor public areas, one introduced on behalf of Roanoke City, but it would have a statewide impact. The measure would permit localities across Virginia to designate non-smoking areas in outdoor amphitheater or concert venues like Elmwood Park. More from WFIR’s Evan Jones:
