(from Roanoke City PD) On July 28, 2024, Roanoke Police at approximately 7:50 pm responded to an unresponsive person in a vehicle in the parking lot of 1100 block of Peters Creek RD Nw. Upon arrival, they located an adult male inside of a sedan. Roanoke Fire/EMS pronounced the man deceased. The medical examiner responded to the scene. We do not believe that there is a danger to the public however, the incident is still under investigation.
