Officer Kenny Johnson and Officer Brian Tinsley have been recognized by the Williamson Road Area Business Association (WRABA) for their work helping clean up a vagrancy issue off Rutgers Street NW. The officers worked together with local businesses to trim a lot of the bushes and foliage in the area, so everything could be seen. The result is that vagrancy is no longer as much of an issue and the overall wooded area looks much better. Making sure properties are kept up as far as trimming and mowing is a very good crime prevention tool. The officers are pictured with WRABA’s Wendy Jones.
