The Roanoke County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its first round of firearm safety courses. WFIR’s Starr Anderson has more details:
To register, citizens should email Lieutenant Kermit Moore at KMoore@roanokecountyva.gov or call the Sheriff’s Office at (540) 283-3112 and include their name, phone number and email address. The class size is restricted to 18 people on each day, and registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. You do not have to be a Roanoke County citizen to attend. Additional classes will be offered in the future.
