Roanoke County Supervisors are set to give first consideration today to  an ordinance that would expand a county code provision covering disposal of a dead animal. Right now, it basically covers pets like cats and dogs, but the change would add  farm animals like livestock and poultry. As WFIR’s Evan Jones reports, it’s brought about by suburban encroachment into traditionally agricultural areas.
