Floyd County investigators await autopsy and toxicology reports on the death of a two-year-old girl. Jocelyn Rodriguez-Guzman was found dead in her home Wednesday night. Her father, Eder Rodriguez-Guzman, faces a capital murder charge. The latest from WFIR’s Bob Clark.

It will take longer to confirm other aspects of the case — autopsy and toxicology reports on the girl’s death may not come back for more than a month.
Deputies responding to a home on Lance Drive just outside the town of Floyd Wednesday night found the two-year-old dead. They won’t say how she died, but they’ve charged Eder Rodriguez-Guzman with capital murder because he’s over 20 and the victim was younger than 14.
