The Prevention County of Roanoke County reaches out to local schools and students about avoiding abusive behaviors that can be dangerous – normally their message deals with drugs, alcohol and bullying – but executive director Nancy Hans says being safe online is a topic as well. Hans says the case of 13 year old Nicolle Lovell, allegedly murdered by a Virginia Tech student she met online, makes that message even more urgent.
