Roanoke is going head-to-head against Chattanooga, Tennessee in the first round of voting in Outside Magazine’s “Best Town Ever” competition. Pete Eshelman is director of outdoor branding for the Roanoke Regional Partnership. He’s urging Roanokers to get on line and vote. He says it would be good for Roanoke to advance to the next level in this bracket-style competition. Eshelman says the first round of the “Best Town” voting ends Friday.
