The latest statewide phone survey of likely and newly registered voters shows Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump in the race for President by 11 points at this point, with just 4 percent of respondents saying they are “undecided.” It comes from the Wason Center of Civic Leadership at Christopher Newport University, where Dr. Rebecca Bromley-Trujillo is the research director.
Trump holds a 1 point edge over Harris among white voters. Meanwhile two-term incumbent Democratic U.S. Senator Tim Kaine holds a commanding 20 point lead over Republican challenger Hung Cao. Bromley-Trujillo noted that many respondents said they did not know enough about Cao.
