A hot holiday weekend lies ahead, and Roanoke City is getting ready to open its public swimming pools, but they will not open quite yet. Washington Park’s pool opens in early June, but as a result of pool restoration, the Fallon Park pool will not open until July. WFIR’s Starr Anderson has more.
