PULASKI, Va. (AP) _ The attorney representing the mother of a 5-year-old boy found dead in a septic tank says her client can’t get a fair trial in Pulaski County. Kelsey Bulger is seeking a trial outside of that southwest Virginia county for 31-year-old Ashley White. She is charged with felony abuse and neglect following Noah Thomas’ death in March. Noah’s father, Paul Thomas, faces similar charges. Bulger filed a brief Wednesday in Circuit Court seeking a change of venue. It will be heard Monday. Bulger cited widespread media coverage of Noah’s death. She said attempting to seat an impartial jury in Pulaski County “would be futile.” After a four-day search, Noah was found dead in the septic tank near his home in Dublin.
