Roanoke air travelers are still awaiting word on future non-stop service between Roanoke and New York service. There seems little question it will continue, but as WFIR’s Evan Jones reports many other questions remain.

But US Airways and Delta want to trade flight slots between New York and Washington pending Department of Justice approval. Delta says it will keep non-stop service here, but it will not say yet whether it could keep the same number of flights until the government makes its decision. We have no word when that may come down.
