The American Civil Liberties Union will ask the U.S. Justice department to review Virginia’s recently-passed voter-ID law if Governor McDonnell signs it. The bill would require identification ranging from a driver’s license to utility bill when voting — or temporarily setting that vote aside until identity could be verified.
