Interpreter services for victims of crimes to be provided

family-service-announcementFamily Service of Roanoke Valley has announced a program that will provide interpreters and services for the victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and other crimes – where English is not their first language.  A 2-year Department of Justice grant will help fund the program. Partners include the Turning Point Shelter,TAP’s Domestic Violence Services and the City of Roanoke.  Sharon Thacker (pictured at podium)  is Family Service President and C-E-O:
