Angels of Assisi says its new program to help pet owners in low income communities has been successful so far. The program is called Angels in Action and it kicked off last month. The goal is to provide veterinary services to pet owners who cannot afford them. This includes free or very low-cost rabies shots and spay or neuter surgeries. WFIR’s Starr Anderson has the story.
