Foundation for Roanoke Valley has issued $60,000 in grants as part of its three year, $300,000 Arts and Culture Initiative. The foundation awards the grants for youth programs that are using arts as a learning tool. The Jefferson Center Foundation, Roanoke Children’s Theatre, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia and VH1’s Save the Music Foundation are among those that recently received checks.
