Democrat Terry McAuliffe is maintaining a seven-point lead in a poll of the Virginia Governor’s race out this morning from Quinnipiac University. Assistant Poll Director Peter Brown says McAuliffe is polling better among Democrats than Ken Cuccinelli is among Republicans. Brown says that puts McAuliffe “clearly in the driver’s seat” with the election less than two weeks away.
The poll has McAuliffe with 46%, to 39% for Cuccinelli and 10% for Libertarian Robert Sarvis.
