On paper, it looks like a steal: Roanoke City properties assessed at more than$700,000 sold for no more than$60,000 for use as an urban farm. But city officials say the numbers don’t paint a true picture because the industrial tracts are too small, too hilly and too wet to serve as business sites. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story.
