Its day two of the short track sprint races today, for the USA Cycling Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships at Elmwood Park. Roanoke Mayor Joe Cobb was on hand yesterday and called it an “incredible,” event. The final two races on the one-mile course at Elmwood Park at 7 and 7:30 tonight will feature the “Elite” group mountain bikers. Tomorrow through Sunday the Mountain Bike National Championships continue on the trails at Explore Park.
