Crimes committed by immigrants both documented and undocumented were major issues highlighted in the recent election and part of President-elect Trump’s reasoning for eliminating birthright citizenship. A study done by the Department of Justice focusing on crimes in the state of Texas has found undocumented immigrants commit LESS crimes than native born Americans. WFIR’s Denise Allen Membreno reports.
