Six people were displaced yesterday after a house fire in the 1700 block of Wise Avenue. Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to the call around 11:30 a.m., when crews arrived on the scene smoke and flames were coming from an upstairs bedroom and had extended into the attic. No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
