The latest Roanoke College poll shows consumers across the Commonwealth are not too optimistic about the economic future, especially people who are from southwest Virginia. An associate economics professor at the college says the government shutdown and recent elections could be creating a lot of doubt in peoples’ minds. WFIR’s Starr Anderson has more.
